Ayasa Living Room Concert - Join us for a night of music at the Ayasa Handpan Headquarters.
On March 21st, 2025 we'll have the Matsumoto Zoku Band (Japan) joining us.

MATSUMOTO ZOKU BAND

The organic instrumental music quartet MATSUMOTO ZOKU BAND is renowned for its innovative sound and captivating performances. Formed in Melbourne in 2013, the band originally featured REO MATSUMOTO (HandPan, Beatbox, Percussion) and Koji Matsumoto (HandPan, Didgeridoo). In 2022, KENTA HAYASHI (Guitar) and Nory (Bass) joined, creating a dream team that elevated their music.

MATSUMOTO ZOKU BAND fuses urban Human Beats with the enchanting melodies of the HandPan and Didgeridoo, crafting a hypnotic groove. Their sound blends guitar, bass, funk, and rock, delivering a vibrant yet psychedelic Organic Dance Music experience. Inspired by World Music, Jazz, Ethnic House, Psy-Trance, ChillBeats, Hip-Hop, and Rock, they constantly explore new musical dimensions.

The band has performed in 14 countries and 41 cities, leaving a global impact. They became the first Japanese act to play on the Dragon Nest Stage at Ozora Festival in Hungary, returning seven times since 2013. Their electrifying performances and genre-defying sound continue to captivate audiences worldwide, cementing MATSUMOTO ZOKU BAND as a unique force in the global music scene.

Working at Ayasa Instruments doesn't only mean making handpans. A lot of our employees are very talented in making music as well. Improvisation is key, so expect the unexpected! Combining piano, handpan, bass, guitar and wind instruments the Ayasa band will play some ambient music live for you.
