In May we gather again at Vogelfrei, come dance your ass off with us and DJ Jethro!
Jethro started breakdancing in 1998 and that kickstarted his dance career. He performed and taught all over the world.
In 2015 he came across Ecstatic Dance and then everything fell into place! He found his love for meditation, somatic work and dance in one place.
First Jethro became the ceremony leader of various Ecstatic Dances, only later he decided to also provide the entire trips as a DJ.
Jethro has now been performing for 4 years throughout Europe and beyond. It is a real passion for him to take people on a very varied dance journey. You can really expect anything, but especially that it will seemingly go in waves.
From deep inside to new, unknown heights, via firm grounding and cheerful softness, Jethro feels the group well as a dancer and 'reads' what is needed and where the journey wants to go.
An invitation to dance, move, enjoy yourself this Sunday morning! We love to see so many returning as well as new faces each time. Flow freely by expressing yourself through movement in a pure (without substances) and transforming way with respect to the people around you. The dance space is a phone-free and non-speaking area where we dance without shoes.
WE START 15 MINUTES EARLIER THAN USUAL:
10:15 doors open, change, relax and get to know the space
10:45 opening session with embodiment exercises
11:10 Ecstatic Dance
13:10 live music
13:30 closing circle
13:45 chill out with nourishing fruit & nuts
Practicalities:
- During the dance there will be water and tea provided (please bring your own bottle!)
- Wear comfortable clothes to move freely in
- We encourage you to join from the whole experience, please aim to be on time
- Space holders are present
- Animal friends / pets are not allowed
- Bring earplugs if you feel you are (more) sensitive to sound
- Our events are for human beings from the age of 18
- No refunds or rescheduling possible
- Please note that if an event is sold out, the only way to get a ticket still is via TicketSwap
