A play between breath and sound ❤️

This Friday April 4 we will guide another Ecstatic Breath with the focus on love. Exploring your breath to feel love within yourself. You are invited to dive into the depths of your inner world and connect to your heart with your breath 🥰 Guided by improvised live music to bring you on a journey within.

Also this time there will be an extra lovely spaceholder present. We focus on making a safe space for everyone. Beginner or more experienced with breathwork, you are all welcome 🤗

‘Ecstatic Breath’ is an improvised soundscape with handpan, keyboard, live electronics and breathwork to guide you into a state of bliss and deep relaxation. But this isn't just about relaxation; it's a journey of self-discovery. We will explore the boundaries between meditation and performance, feeling into the contrast between sound & silence, quick & slow, light & dark.

We are Lieneke and Ayşegül Ivy and we are super excited to introduce Ecstatic Breath at this beautiful location Metaal Kathedraal. Ayşegül Ivy is a classical pianist from Turkey and Lieneke is a breathwork teacher playing the handpan from the Netherlands.

During this unique experience, you become a part of the performance as you surrender to the rhythm of your breath. It will be a play between live music and breath. It is both a performance and breathwork experience that takes about 1,5 hour, with 20-30 minutes of intense breathing together (4 rounds with breath retention).

*To be comfortable during the breathwork, please make sure to bring a yoga mat.

Contraindications
As this breathwork is a strong and intense practice, please let us know beforehand if you have any of the following conditions: pregnancy, a history of aneurisms, cardiovascular problems, high blood pressure, epilepsy, seizures, vision problems, detached retina, glaucoma, osteoporosis. You will receive adjustments in breathing so it is also possible for you to join.
