Over dit evenement
Join us for a magical evening celebrating Mabon, or Autumn Equinox. For the second time this year, the night is almost as long as the day. And as a time of the second harvest (after the first harvest of Lammas) it's traditionally a moment for giving thanks and blessings.
To do so, we will again gather round a fire with stories, songs, poems and other sharings and slowly turn more inwards to clear space for the silence of Winter and the seeds of new beginnings.
What to Expect:
Nature Connection: We will take the time to connect to our own nature and the world around us, using a simple nature connection practice. We will also honour the space we are in by contributing to the land of the garden.
Fire Ceremony: We will gather around a communal fire, a symbol of warmth, light, and transformation.
Story Sharing: Bring a story, poem, or experience to share. This is a time for communal reflection, connection, and celebration of our journeys.
Community Weaving: Meet like-minded individuals, build connections, and enjoy the atmosphere.
Beltane Celebration: Engage in activities that honour Autumn Equinox, from crafting, singing, and working on the garden, to simple rituals that mark this significant time of the year.
What to Bring:
Comfortable clothing suitable for an evening outside.
A blanket or cushion to sit on.
Your favorite story, poem, or experience to share.
This event is bi-lingual (Dutch/English), feel free to come as you are and speak the language you are most comfortable in!
We aim to let the fire, the songs, crafting together and sitting in circle speak its own universal language.
