Welcome to the special Christmas edition of Ritual Dance. This ceremonial gathering will be guided by Ans Vyncke in English.
A warm welcome to this cosy evening edition, dedicated and offered to the return of the Light !
As a way of bridging the tangible and celestial, we will be opening our space together by taking the time to sink into our Being throughout a guided cacao ceremony.
Supported by this beautiful medicine and focusing on our individual and common intentions, we will be ritualy invoking and honouring the Light, both within ourselves and surrounding us, thus entering a held meditative space.
From this place of silence, we will gradually be bringing nourishing motion into every cell of our bodies, coming home to ourselves, each other, celebrating through dance, united as one Body.
We will be completing by cocreating a sacred space in which prayers of gratefulness can be expressed to be carried out into the greater whole upon our homecoming.

18.30-19.30: cacao ceremony
19.30-21.30: Ritual Dance
21.30-22.00: giving thanks

Registration for the Ritual Dance is necessary, because places are limited.
***What is Ritual Dance?***
Ritual Dance is a dance experience where we come together in silence. From the silence we make eye contact with another dancer. Music is the invitation to go into spontaneous, free dance.
The concept of Ritual Dance is inspired by Ecstatic Dance and Ritual Play. We only use body language, we leave words behind. We dance barefoot. We only drink water and let ourselves be carried away by the natural flow. There is a dedicated space (the field) and time frame (the songs), in which we step into the unknown, to authentically follow our impulses in tune with the other.

**Who is Ans Vynck?**
Having herself recieved many gifts from the embracing medicine of Cacao, Ans is continuously tapping into her own journey and Life’s invitations to open up furthermore and welcome what is. The core quality of her soft energy is often percieved as connected from the heart with the innate body’s wisdom and from there, to the greater whole. She’s continuously weaving a thread of connection through her practices, one of which in particular she describes as follows: “Dancing particularly tells me so much about myself. Thanks to the encounter with the other I am able to dis-cover, find healing, continue the daily dance of, in and with Life, knowing myself supported and surrounded by an energy, to the realization and multiplication of which we can all contribute, simply by uniting in openness and vulnerability.”
