Learn to use your body optimally in rope play. Discover how the body bends, folds, extends, twists and turns. And get inspired to spice up your Shibari sessions by using the body's possibilities in new ways!

> What is the focus of this workshop?

This workshop is about how to use your own body (when you tie or get tied) and about how to move and manipulate the body of the person to play in rope. We look at the body and its movement options. We experiment with folding, bending, twisting, turning. Checking out possibilities and limitations.

All of this will be done without using rope. We bring in the rope during the afternoon workshop One Rope Play to use the body knowledge with the rope play.

The result? Much more intense and interesting rope play!

You’re welcome if you’re complete beginners, but also if you already know some Shibari technique and would like to dive deeper into the way to use and manipulate the body in Shibari sessions.

PLUS: we always look at possibilities and limitations to your specific body. So even if you have an injury, you’re welcome to join!

Butterfly has been teaching Shibari sinds 2012. She is a certified Psychosexual Somatics Therapist and Relationship Therapist. Her workshops are heavily influenced by her knowledge of mindfulness, tantra, conscious kink and conscious relating.
