If you or a lover have ever experienced post-orgasmic spasms or “twitches” after lovemaking, or feelings of heat and tension in your lower back, hands, neck or throat… You might be more energetic in your sex life than you think! And if you’ve never experienced those things but would like to, you might be pleasantly surprised how easily energetic sex is to grasp and play with.

Regardless of your tolerance for words like “chakras” and “yoni”… Or if phrases like sacred masculine and sacred feminine seem too restrictive… There is a non-New Agey way to understand and incorporate ecstatic experiences into your bedroom routine regardless of who you sleep with or how you identify. FOR WHO IS THIS EVENT?
This event welcomes folks from all walks of life. We are LGBTQIIA+ informed (Wilrieke and most of their team identify as such), slut-friendly, trauma-informed, and non-monogamy informed. White folks are overrepresented in our team and life experiences are colored through that lens. We do come from different social backgrounds and have different life experiences when it comes to health, wealth, neurodiversity, gender, sexual orientation, etc.
We welcome people with specific needs as much as able-bodied folks. Feel free to reach out if you have specific needs that you wish to share with us.

WHAT THE DAY LOOKS LIKE
The doors open half an hour before the starting time. Make sure to be on time! Once we have started we cannot let latecomers in!

ABOUT THE AFTERNOON WORKSHOP: ENERGY SEX
You will be introduced to:

* Resonance Play—Reid’s particular views on how s.xual energy “behaves” and how it “works,” as well as ways you can begin accessing more energetic awareness in the bedroom
* A way to engage with sexual energy that isn’t about gender or polarity.
* What Kriyas (“the twitchys”) can look like and what to do when you or a lover experiences them.
* Three possible approaches for engaging s.xual energy and expanding it when exploring energetic sex with a partner or solo with yourself
* How a wine glass and singing saw can expand your lovemaking and sexual prowess
* Simple breathing and “presence” techniques to build up energetic awareness
* How to use “pressure play” and where so you can help unlock and activate points on your lover’s body to augment energetic experiences during lovemaking
* A few advanced tips and tricks that will make you smile and your partner moan regardless of whether “the twitchys” happen or not!
Whatever your level of experience with sex that seems to be “more than just sex,” these humorous and informative instructions, sex education, and live demonstrations on this esoteric (and yet more common than you think) realm of energetic sex are not to be missed!

ABOUT THE PLAY PARTY
The play party starts with an intro talk about play party etiquette. There's space for you to ask your questions.

We slowly start the program with dancing and some exercises again. This transitions into a free flow where you design your own experience. The team and I are available for support and inspiration - or a chat at the bar.
You can bring your own toys if you want, or try out some of our extensive spread of toys, safer sex materials, and more.

The space will have different zones with a theme, like a cuddle puddle, sensory play, a dance floor, and who knows what else! It's a PINK event, meaning that underpants stay on and sexual interactions are not allowed. More info in the FAQ.

ABOUT REID MIHALKO (USA)
As seen on NETFLIX' "Chelsea Does..." alongside Chelsea Handler, Reid Mihalko (he/him) of ReidAboutSex.com is an internationally known sex and relationship educator helping adults become the change they want to see in the bedroom by creating more self-esteem, self-confidence, and greater health and accountability in their relationships and sex lives. ABOUT WILRIEKE SOPHIA
Wilrieke Sophia (they/them) is a sex & intimacy educator, (TEDx) speaker, advisor & coach for creative makers and scientists, author, and founder of Exploring Deeper and Cuddle Workshops International.

The main focus of their work is empowerment through self-knowledge and understanding, radical self-inclusion, the embodied experiencing of boundaries and desires, and an extensive practice of consent – all based on a foundation of trauma awareness and neuroscience, embedded in experiential spaces based on interpersonal connective practices. They collaborate with artists and scientists, and are a supervisor and mentor.

ACCESSIBILITY
This workshop space is called Awananda. The elevators in this building are out of function - the owner won’t fix this to our regret. There are stairs to enter the building. On the ground floor is an all-access bathroom. The workshop is on the first floor. There are two stairs to get there. There are several bathrooms on the first floor (no all-access bathrooms), and a kitchen with lunch facilities, including a fridge and a microwave. There are mattresses in the workshop space. There is no shower.
