With mostly Afrobeats music, but also traditional African music.
With Afro dances and also traditional African dances.

WHAT DO YOU LEARN?

First of all: Making connection to the music and steps.

You will learn afro dance steps (mix of styles, modern vs traditional)
You will learn about the foundations and the background of the steps/dances that I will teach. (as far as I've learned/I know)
Also you will learn to embody the moves, so you can play with moves to implement them in your freestyle.

- You will learn different afro dance steps. We will do steps from ghana mostly.
* learn the foundations of +/- 20 azonto steps (also the knowledge and variations).
* one class to get in touch with the style: Ndombolo. Ndombolo basics (example: loketo)
* one class to get in touch with the style: afrohouse from uganda (kuduro)(footwork)

- Further on we will do steps from traditional and fusion of African traditional dances.

Why am I doing it this way?
I'm so passionate to teach and to share my and the African knowledge, the beauty of DANCE and the beauty of being in a group... If we are in a fixed group and dive into it together for 8 weeks we can make sooo much progress, enjoyment, learn the foundations properly, get to know each other and yourself, we can go into the depth and GROW AND ENJOY THE FULLEST. I've done it now 2 courses now of Free flow and Azonto, and ready to go to the 3rd one which will be more focused on steps to expand your vocabulaire.

Missing 1 class can happen of course, but I would suggest be there every Tuesday and try to attent every class.
