The Movement Labs are weekly movement research sessions in which you explore new approaches to moving and making contact with your body.
In the first half of the series you will dive into the anatomical structure of your body and explore how this can inspire and expand your movements. In the second half, you will play with your anatomical structure to find new qualities of movement.
- Oct 16th: Articulate your joints
- Oct 23rd: Find your roots - Lower body exploration
- Oct 30th: Meet your spine - Head to tail exploration
- Nov 6th : Spread your wings - Shoulder girdle and arm exploration
- Nov 13th: Feel the support from the floor
- Nov 20th: Play with weight & momentum
- Nov 27th: Go into space
- Dec 4th: Textures inside and around
All sessions are infused with classic Explore elements that help you ground and release tension, like shaking and self-massage. Like this, your moving can come from a place of playfulness and curiosity.
The series is structured such that the sessions build on each other, but can also stand alone. It is, therefore, possible to join the series as a whole, in part or in individual sessions.
