This special workshop is for all genders, all experience levels and sexual orientations, and includes LIVE demonstrations and time for you to practice.
Join sex and relationship educators Reid Mihalko of ReidAboutSex.com and Wilrieke Sophia of Exploring Deeper for a unique, day-long practicum filled with humorous, down-to-earth, Show-N-Tell-N-Then-Practice sex education. Let Wilrieke and Reid teach and demonstrate their best teachings and favorite techniques for creating AND receiving sensual and sexual pleasure, then let them support you and your partner while you have time and space to TRY YOUR NEW SKILLS ON EACH OTHER!*
Yep. You read that correctly. This workshop will include explicit demonstrations where you get to watch and ask questions, and then you will have the opportunity to try out and practice with your partner(s).*
* This is not a couples class per se. The practicum experience is optional, never mandatory. You can buy your ticket with one or two others. This way you already know people that you may potentially practice with. You can also look for practice partners at the event itself (we will support that process). We do not guarantee you a practice partner - in such case, you are welcome to witness or practice on your own body.

MORNING SESSION - Energetic Sex, Kriyas, and Orgasms
We’ll begin our journey by expanding your awareness and understanding of how to connect, play, and augment your erotic energy (and the energy of those you frolic with!)...
Let Wilrieke and Reid show you how playing with sexual energy can help you and your lovers reach heightened states of arousal and connection with your clothes on!
Learn how accessing your pelvic floor muscles through pressure, pushing, pulling, and squeezing can turbocharge your abilities to drop into your energetic body (and help your lovers drop into theirs)
Let us introduce you to Resonance Play and Reid’s “Chakrahs within Chakrahs” concepts
Through live demos and invitations to test out techniques on yourself and your partner(s), deepen your experiences with Kriyas and energetic orgasms
Expand beyond the limiting concepts of binary masculine/feminine polarity and start seeing erotic connection as the color wheel that it can be so you can play with all of the crayons in the crayon box of pleasure and fulfillment!
While we will be exploring energetic sex and you will be invited to participate in exercises at your own comfort level, the morning session will be fully clothed, giving the group time to connect, drop in, and build a safer container for the afternoon’s more explicit demonstrations and practice sessions. With both sessions, voyeurism is participation and you are invited to adjust exercises so that they work for you, change your mind at anytime, and opt-out as you please.
AFTERNOON SESSION - Explicit Demos + Play/Research and Exploration
We will continue our journey, increasing the heat and building upon what we’ve already covered, first with Wilrieke and Reid teaching and demonstrating explicit techniques. This will be Show ‘N Tell at it’s more fun and adult! Demonstrations will include nudity, pleasure, and laughter. Demonstrations will also include time for you to ask questions and get your questions answered.
After Show ‘N Tell, Reid and Wilrieke will open up the rest of the afternoon for the “Then Try” portion of the workshop title. This will be a “dojo-style,” research and development session where YOU and your classmates get to partner up and pick what techniques you’d like to practice, explore, and play with. Consent, respect, and non-pressured negotiation are mandatory. This will be time to develop your new skills with willing partners while getting support from us. Again, we are not promising you partners to practice with. Voyerism is participation as is changing your mind or opting out. You are also not required to practice only as a couple.

- Positions, Communication Techniques, and Safer Sex Approaches for All of the Above…
- Requests for Demonstrations - What else would you like to see us demonstrate? They’re not promising to take all requests, but if there is time, curiosity, and desire… Who knows what you could learn! ;)

ABOUT REID MIHALKO (USA)

ABOUT WILRIEKE SOPHIA
Wilrieke Sophia (they/them) is a sex & intimacy educator, (TEDx) speaker, advisor & coach for creative makers and scientists, author, and founder of Exploring Deeper and Cuddle Workshops International.
The main focus of their work is empowerment through self-knowledge and understanding, radical self-inclusion, the embodied experiencing of boundaries and desires, and an extensive practice of consent – all based on a foundation of trauma awareness and neuroscience, embedded in experiential spaces based on interpersonal connective practices. They collaborate with artists and scientists, and are a supervisor and mentor.
With their project Red Flags in Workshops, Wilrieke creates zines and other free materials on e.g. accountability, abuse, and power dynamics in the intimacy and wellness communities.

ACCESSIBILITY
This workshop space is called Awananda. The elevators in this building are out of function - the owner won’t fix this to our regret. There are stairs to enter the building. On the ground floor is an all-access bathroom. The workshop is on the first floor. There are two stairs to get there. There are several bathrooms on the first floor (no all-access bathrooms), and a kitchen with lunch facilities, including a fridge and a microwave. There are mattresses in the workshop space. There is no shower.
