Contra-indications to be aware of:
Whether you have experience with breathwork or not, everyone is welcome. We've received wonderful feedback from both newcomers who were initially sceptical and from those with extensive experience. Each session is unique. Breathwork is very safe. However, there are a few contraindications where it is advised to first consult with your (primary care) physician or not participate. If there are indicators and it's deemed safe (doctor's approval), we can adjust the technique accordingly.
• Pregnancy
• Heart conditions, high blood pressure (>140/90)
• Epilepsy
• Severe mental illness (schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder)
• Use of heavy medication
• Asthma
