PeaceConcerts organiseert in samenwerking met Regenerate na het sucses van afgelopen jaar wederom een "Doorway to Silence" concert met Dana Devi, Tammo Heikens en Terence Samson.
De Soefitempel Katwijk is gekozen als de ultieme lokatie.
Doorway to Silence - Mantra Concert
Ervaar diepe ontspanning met de muziek van mantra zangeres Dana Devi en de meditatieve klanken van sitarspeler en gitarist Tammo Heikens.
Al eeuwenlang hebben mensen vrede en liefde gevonden in mantra’s en gebeden. Dana’s devotionele muziek zal je uitnodigen om te vertragen, te verstillen, te zingen en je hart te openen. De mantra’s in het Sanskriet, vaak gecombineerd met de vertaling in het Engels wiegen je heel zachtjes naar de stilte toe.
Over Dana Devi:
Dana Devi is mantra zangeres, muzikante en yogi. Het is haar passie de harten van mensen te raken met muziek en stilte. Ze groeide op in een yoga ashram en werd al op jonge leeftijd aangetrokken tot Indiase muziek en mantra’s. Ze brengt mensen in diepe ontspanning met zacht gitaarspel en haar helende stem. In 2019 kwam haar eerste album uit: “Doorway to Silence”.

Over Tammo Heikens:
Tammo studeerde Indiase muziek aan het Rotterdams conservatorium. Hij bespeelt de sitar en laat zich inspireren door eeuwenoude raga's, mantra's en soefi muziek. Op de sitar en de gitaar begeleidt hij Dana's mantra's met de meest prachtige melodieen.

Over Terence:
Terence Samson is percussie multi-instrumentalist. Hij zet een prachtige sfeer neer met talloze percussie-instrumenten uit verschillende delen van de wereld. Hij speelt oa. de Afrikaanse Udu, de Zuid-Indiase Kanjira en Perzische framedrum.

Experience deep relaxation with the music of mantra singer Dana Devi and the meditative sounds of sitar player and guitarist Tammo Heikens.
For centuries, people have found peace and love in mantras and prayers. Dana's devotional music will invite you to slow down, be still, sing and open your heart. The mantras in Sanskrit, often combined with the translation into English, gently lull you into silence.
About Dana Devi:
Dana Devi is a mantra singer, musician and yogi. It is her passion to touch people's hearts with music and silence. She grew up in a yoga ashram and was drawn to Indian music and mantras from an early age. She brings people into deep relaxation with soft guitar playing and her healing voice. Her first album was released in 2019: “Doorway to Silence”.

About Tammo Heikens:
Tammo studied Indian music at the Rotterdam Conservatory. He plays the sitar and is inspired by age-old ragas, mantras and Sufi music. On the sitar and guitar he accompanies Dana's mantras with the most beautiful melodies.

Terence Samson is a percussion multi-instrumentalist. He creates a beautiful atmosphere with countless percussion instruments from different parts of the world. He plays, among other things. the African Udu, the South Indian Kanjira and Persian frame drum.
