Met de komst van het Regenerate Station lanceren we een nieuw concept; 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭
Chai Night is de vrijdag avond gathering van het Regenerate Station. We komen samen om overheerlijke chai te drinken en te genieten van live muziek. Want wie wilt er nou niet ontspannen aan het eind van de week? Naast ontspanning nodigen de muziek en de hemelse kruiden van de Chai je wellicht uit voor een dansje!

𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐚
Muziek is leven. Vol bezieling schrijf en zing ik mijn eigen liedjes gebaseerd op mijn verlangen naar verbinding, genezing van oude wonden en vrede.

“Kom je even op het podium zingen?” Mijn vader nodigt me uit. Ik ben 8 jaar oud, met knikkende knieën zing ik mijn lied verscholen achter de microfoon en mijn haar.

Mijn Molukse papa Danny Pattinama geeft me muziek in als zoete melk. Zo groei ik op met diverse stijlen muziek als onderdeel van de cultuur, op het podium en in de studio en zing ik in velerlei bandjes.

Muziek als passie en hulplijn
Muziek helpt me als kind en jongere om mijn weg te vinden in een wereld waarin ik mezelf niet herken. Na een burnout volgt er een diepgaande studie over de helende kracht van muziek en de wetenschap van klank. Ik vind mijzelf terug door mijn eigen vibratie te omarmen.

Roots
Door mijn muziek spreken mijn Molukse Alifuru roots. Het natuurvolk dat in verbinding staat met de natuur, met de bron en spirit van het leven. Een volk wat gedeeltelijk in ballingschap in Nederland leeft.

De muziek tilt mij op, het heelt in mij de wonden van zwijgen, slikken en aanpassen, voortkomend uit de koloniale geschiedenis. Maar ook de onderdrukking van het vrouwelijke. Vooruit kijk ik naar de Nieuwe Aarde en hoe ik hieraan vorm geef met mijn verlangens, intenties en identiteit.

Luisteren naar de stilte achter de klank
In mijn ogen is het essentieel dat we naar ons hart luisteren en ons verbinden met onze bezieling en onze bronverbinding. Zodat we van binnen uit een betere wereld kunnen creëren voor onze kinderen waarin vrede werkelijk mogelijk is. Zo binnen, zo buiten.

De muziek heelt de wonden van het hart en brengt mij terug bij wie ik in essentie ben. Het geeft me de moed om op te staan en mijn plek in te nemen. Als mens, als vrouw, als moeder, als Moluks-Nederlandse, als moeder, als hoedster van moeder aarde en het water..

With the arrival of the Regenerate Station, we are launching a new concept: 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭
Chai Night is the Friday evening gathering of the Regenerate Station. We come together to enjoy delicious chai and live music. Who doesn't want to relax at the end of the week? Besides relaxation, the music and the heavenly delicious spices of the chai will likely invite you for a dance.

The musicians vary each week. The musicians for this week will be announced shortly.

𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐚
Music is life. I write and sing my own songs with passion based on my desire for connection, healing of old wounds and peace.

“Would you like to come and sing on stage?” My father invites me. I am 8 years old, with shaking knees I sing my song hidden behind the microphone and my hair.

My Moluccan dad Danny Pattinama gives me music like sweet milk. I grew up with various styles of music as part of the culture, on stage and in the studio and I sing in many different bands.

Music as a passion and helpline
As a child and young person, music helps me to find my way in a world in which I do not recognize myself. After a burnout, an in-depth study follows about the healing power of music and the science of sound. I find myself again by embracing my own vibration.

Roots
My Moluccan Alifuru roots speak through my music. The people of nature who are connected to nature, to the source and spirit of life. A people who live partly in exile in the Netherlands.

The music lifts me up, it heals the wounds of silence, swallowing and adjustment in me, resulting from colonial history. But also the oppression of the feminine. Moving forward I look at the New Earth and how I shape it with my desires, intentions and identity.

Listening to the silence behind the sound
In my opinion, it is essential that we listen to our hearts and connect with our inspiration and our source connection. So that we can create a better world for our children from within, where peace is truly possible. As inside, so outside.

The music heals the wounds of the heart and brings me back to who I essentially am. It gives me the courage to stand up and take my place. As a human being, as a woman, as a mother, as a Moluccan-Dutch, as a mother, as guardian of mother earth and water..
