Join us for an immersive experience as we delve into the art of seasonal living and foraging in the heart of Amsterdam. Hosted by Gabi, this unique workshop combines hands-on foraging, culinary exploration, and education on gut health, all set against the backdrop of Amsterdam's slowly awakening Spring Time!.
You will embark on a guided foraging expedition to discover the abundant wild garlic that thrives in the park during the spring season. Learn about the benefits of seasonal living and the delicious culinary possibilities that wild garlic offers as we gather the fresh Wild Garlic for our workshop activities.
Back at the workshop location, we will roll up our sleeves and dive into the creative process of making Wild Garlic salt, a flavorful and versatile seasoning that captures the essence of the Spring like nothing else! Right after we will indulge in a nourishing vegan soup.
As we savour the soup, Gabi will provide an introduction to fermentation and gut health, highlighting the importance of incorporating fermented foods into our diets for optimal well-being. Participants will then have the opportunity to craft their own Honey-Fermented Carrot Jam*, adding another dimension to their culinary repertoire.
To conclude the workshop, we will decorate our Wild Garlic Salt and Honey-Fermented Carrot Jam jars, so we can thoroughly enjoy them at home. Leave feeling inspired and empowered to embrace the principles of slow living, seasonal living, and gut health in your daily life. 🙂
