Shibari Fundamentals part 1

The goal of this workshop is to provide you with a set of basic skills for practising shibari.

It will be 70% technique, 30% play and connection.

𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡:
- Rope handling
- Body handling
- Safety, Communication and Consent
- A single column tie
- Simple frictions and dealing with tension

This workshop will be in English. It will involve switching, so you get to experience tying as well as getting tied. We do all exercises in pairs.

This is a no nudity event.

- Feel free to bring your own rope, there will be rope for you to borrow. I will bring rope you can buy at the location or you can buy rope beforehand at https://opgewondenstandje.nl/shop. For me, rope provides a sort of physical language that both partners can use to connect with each other. I love how it requires me to step into a certain frame of mind and to be in the moment. Creating a temporary little bubble in which things are simpler which in turn helps me connect better with myself and my partner. Its just me, my partner and a rope.
