What happens when the connection and musicality of Tango meet the freedom and playfulness of Contact Improvisation?

In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll explore listening, leading and following, shared balance, fluid movement and playful improvisation. No previous Tango or Contact Improvisation experience is needed.

After the two-hour workshop, we’ll finish with a 30-minute jam where you can explore the material freely.

Who is it for?
Everyone is welcome.
Some experience with tango or contact improvisation is helpful, but not necessary. Curiosity, openness, and willingness to move are more important than skill level.

Practical information
Workshop: 2 hours
Jam: 30 minutes (open space)
Language: English (with support if needed)

Clothing
Comfortable clothing you can move in (long sleeves and long pants recommended)
Layers are useful
No shoes (barefoot or socks)
Avoid very slippery fabrics
Optional: knee pads
