𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?
Contact Improvisation is a playful dance form in which you move, explore and improvise together with others. Through weight, balance and touch, you'll discover new ways of moving, communicating and collaborating. We guide you through the many layers of Contact Improvisation, from learning technical foundations to developing trust, creativity and intuitive movement. No prior dance experience is needed, just curiosity, openness and a willingness to move.

✨ Fall sessions: Sundays 19:00–21:00
✨ Beginner Course: 6 September – 11 October (6 classes)
✨ Guest Teacher class: 18 October

After each class, the studio stays open for about half an hour. You’re welcome to stay, jam, chat or enjoy a cup of tea together.

Another Kind Of Blue is known for beautiful choreography combined with cutting-edge technology. Internationally acclaimed, we create performances featuring drones, projections and, currently, a VR experience.

We believe dance is about more than perfection and technique. That's why we embrace Contact Improvisation, where spontaneity, curiosity and direct interaction are at the heart of the practice. We encourage people to let go of control, trust their instincts and each other, and discover new, unexpected ways of moving.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻?
Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re an experienced dancer or simply curious about exploring new ways of moving, these sessions provide a safe and inspiring environment to learn and experiment.
This class is a place to learn, enjoy and explore. To help make that possible for everyone, we expect participants to be able to take care of themselves physically and mentally within the setting of the class.
We encourage everyone to respect both their own boundaries and those of others. Consent, clear communication and mutual respect are an important part of Contact Improvisation.
We welcome people of all genders, identities, sexual orientations, backgrounds and bodies. We strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone can feel safe, respected and free to explore movement.
