Rope can bring many things. And in our perception it can bring out the most if you know how to embody your intentions with it.

So we invited Jana to give a class about how to embody through movement, after which we will have a jam to practice and internalize the class.

During this evening you may explore how you can get out of your head and more into your body through fun and relaxing movement exercises. Discover how to connect with one or more people while respecting your and their boundaries. No prior experience needed. Just come in comfortable clothes.

Duration 1,5h with a rope jam afterwards.

This workshop is for you if…

you often find yourself in your head, struggling to relax into your body. Unforeseen moments leave you stressed, and letting go of control feels impossible (even though you long to surrender). These moments might arise during playing or dancing with someone. Together, we'll nurture more trust and creativity in your connections.

What is a rope jam?

Its an event where people can play with ropes. In general you are free to do this in whatever style you want. Have you never heard about playing with rope, look up Shibari on the internet ;)

Presenter bio

Coming from a background in dancing and visual expression, Jana can support you in discovering playfulness and embodiment. Based in Amsterdam, she has hosted movement and creativity workshops for several years. She creates spaces where you feel relaxed and inspired to explore hidden sides of yourself and connect with new people.
