Welcome to Sacred Stay at Sacred Valley

Below you'll find an overview of our 14-day journey through Peru's Sacred Valley. Every day has been carefully designed to balance exploration, rest, cultural immersion, ceremonies, nature, and time for personal integration.

This itinerary offers only a glimpse of what awaits you. Throughout the journey, you'll experience meaningful encounters with local communities, visit extraordinary sacred places, learn about ancestral traditions, and share many beautiful moments together.

For a more detailed description, photos, practical information, accommodation, what's included, please visit the Sacred Stay website.

.....................................................................................................................................................................

🌿 DAY 1: Arrival in Cusco

This day is dedicated to gently entering the Sacred Stay space, acclimatizing, and getting to know one another and the surroundings where you will spend the next 14 days.

On this day, you will be welcomed in Cusco and transferred to Pisac - a small and vibrant town in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, approximately one hour from Cusco.

Upon arrival, lunch will be provided, followed by time to rest and adapt to the altitude, climate, and rhythm of this place.

🌿 DAY 2: Opening Ceremony

On this day, we will hold the opening ceremony - the meeting with Mountains, making an offerings to Pachamama, and learning the ancient ways of paying respect to the Universe before we do anything in our life.

We’ll be accompanied by representatives of one of the most ancient communities of Peru - the Q’eros, who still live in deep connection with the ancestral traditions of the Andes.

A representative from this community will share with us his knowledge and wisdom, helping us to feel more deeply the spirit of this land and set the intention of our journey.

We will learn the main words in Quechua (the true language of the mountains) and will speak with the mountains as if they were individuals.

This will be a beginning - quiet, sacred, and filled with presence.

🌿 DAY 3: Cusco & Its Temples

On this day, we will spend time together in sacred places near Cusco (Saqsayhuamán, Qenqo, Temple
of the Moon), accompanied by a Peruvian guide who will share with us a bit of a story and local traditions.

On this day, we’ll start getting to know powerful Inka and pre-Inka structures and will feel their undeniable power.

🔥 DAY 4: Temazcal Ceremony

This will be the day of cleansing both the body and the spirit through an old Dakota style ceremony, which has also reached Peru in its own way, with chanting and its traditions.

In the past, only members of the community who were making important decisions participated in it. The hot air helps to release the mind, renew perception, and bring clarity. Within the circle of the temazcal, everyone has the opportunity to leave behind what is unnecessary and emerge renewed - with gratitude and a clear heart.

🏔️ DAY 5: Sacred Valley Tour

A full day of traveling through the most powerful and important places of the Inca culture in the Sacred Valley.

You will see the mystical architecture of an ancient civilization that still holds many unresolved mysteries. We’ll be visiting Ollaytantambo, Moray, Maras, and Pisac ruins, which are not less powerful than Machu Picchu.

🌿 DAY 6: Andean Culture & Cacao Evening

We will immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the Andes and visit local family in a mountain village. They will share with us how they work with wool, how they extract organic colors from plants, and treat us to some homemade food. On this day, they gladly open the doors to their houses and their hearts for us.

In the evening, we will spend time in a calm and gentle space with cacao and music, helping us softly return to ourselves.

Cacao is a sacred plant of Peru, used for opening the heart, emotional healing, and deepening the connection with oneself and others.

This plant awakens creativity, clarity, and inner peace - qualities that bring harmony into life. During the ceremony, we will be singing mantras and sharing collective desire for peace and harmony.

🚆 DAY 7: Machu Picchu (Arrival)

We will depart early in the morning by the bus to the town of Ollaytantambo, and then take a train to the town of Machu Picchu, located in the high jungle.

During the journey, you will witness the majesty of the Andes and feel the power of a place considered one of the wonders of the world.

We will also have the opportunity to spend the night in the town, visit the thermal baths, and a beautiful
waterfall.

✨ DAY 8: Machu Picchu (Visit)

On this day, we will finally see one of the seven wonders of the world - Machu Picchu.

We will have the opportunity to walk through the ancient city, spend time in meditation, and learn about its history and meaning for the local people.

🌸 DAY 9: Flower Bath

After the very rich and deep experience of Machu Picchu, we will need a day of rest and integration. This
day will be dedicated to silence, relaxation, and personal space.

On this day we will also meet with a representative of the Shipibo community from the Amazon who will hold a special Flower Bath Ceremony for us.

This is a sacred individual process aimed at cleansing the energetic field and filling the aura with new fragrances that attract success and good fortune.

🏔️ DAY 10: Ausangate Mountain Hiking

We will travel to the sacred mountain Ausangate, one of the highest in Peru (over 6000 m). At its base are seven high-altitude lakes and countless alpacas.

This will be the time for silent reflection, connecting with the Grant Spirit of the Apu (Sacred Mountain) and feeling the silent power of the Earth.

This will be the medium difficulty hike, with picturesque views all around you, the constant sound of the river flowing by and countless alpacas that you will meet during the walk.

This is a challenging yet very transformative and very necessary experience on our journey.

🌿 DAY 11: Quiet Day in Pisac

This day is an invitation to slow down and simply be. After days filled with movement, ceremonies, and deep experiences, we create space for integration, rest, and presence.

Pisac has a very unique rhythm - unhurried, grounded, and deeply connected to nature. You may choose to spend your time walking through the town’s small streets, visiting local markets, or sitting by the river, listening to the sound of flowing water and the mountains breathing around you.

Since this is a free day, you are also welcome to plan an additional Sacred Plants ceremony for this day.

🎨 DAY 12: Kinsacocha Lake & Art Practice

We will journey to Kinsacocha, a place of high-altitude lakes and quiet mountain presence. Here, in the stillness of the mountains, we will gather for our closing ceremony - a moment of gratitude, reflection, and completion. It is a space to honor the path we have walked together and to integrate the experience
before returning.

Upon return to Pisac, we will ground all our lived experiences into a physical form through a session of intuitive painting. This will be something you create yourself and take home with you - a reminder of the feelings you’ve experienced during this special journey.

🔥 DAY 13: Kirtan & Fire

On this day, we will gather together with the Pisac community to sing sacred Sanskrit mantras and create a flow of special vibrations that we send out into the universe. We will attend a Kirtan gathering, enjoy cacao, and chant mantras together.

Afterwards, we will gather around a fire to celebrate and enjoy the last day of our beautiful stay, sharing the warmth, connection, and memories created throughout our time together.

🤍 DAY 14: Farewell and Transfer to Cusco

On this day, you return to Cusco, from where you may continue your journey. I will be happy to assist you with recommendations for further travel - to Nazca, the jungle, or other sacred places in Peru.

✨WHO IS HOLDING THE SACRED STAY SPACE?✨

Inna - a Ukrainian who has been living in Peru for over four years.

Through living in the Sacred Valley, in Pisac, I have learned not only the language, but also the language of local traditions and the way the culture flows here.

As someone with extensive international experience, I understand how to share this with others in an enjoyable and caring way - the way where you do not struggle to figure things out, and not overpay, the way where you are able to connect to the essence and feel at home while being thousands of kilometers away.

Besides this, I am an audio-visual artist, and I use art as a therapeutic practice through the sessions of intuitive painting. I also practice Shaolin arts and will share grounding body movement and breathing exercises with you during your stay in the mornings.
