Play Rotterdam: Embodied Play

Embodied play is a non-verbal, embodied and relational practice where you play with another person or group. We’re here to connect with others while staying in connection to ourselves. In this practice you can learn about what gives you energy, your fears, how you tend to relate to yourself and others, how you would like to relate yourself and others, and also just to have fun!

This will be a heart centered workshop so at the beginning we will take our time to feel and listen to our hearts and our bodies so it can guide us throughout. After that we will take our time to warm up and settle the mind so we can jump into the play right after.

We try to let go of the concepts of right and wrong and explore whatever is there. The wild, the sweet, quiet or energetic, and everything in between is welcome and cherished.

19:00 – Walk in
19:15 – Start workshop (it would be great if you can make it in time so we have enough time to do everything that’s planned)
22:00 – End workshop

FACILITATORS:
Sytze: A member of the Play Rotterdam community who fell in in love with connection and the magic that happens when people really see each other. He'll hold the space with his calm and soft energy.
Tom: Has been creating spaces for deep presence and self-discovery for many years, helping participants to feel safe yet open.

LANGUAGE
The event will either be held in Dutch or English depending on the languages the participants speak.

TICKETS
We use a sliding price scale:
Supported (€9): For those short on cash.
Standard (€14): Regular price.
Supporter (€19): For those who want to support the community.
