A Tai Chi Summer Day Retreat immersed in nature
Slow down and nourish your body and soul, through the ancient practice of Tai Chi and Chi Gong. Enjoy training with a warm and friendly community. Open to beginners and more experienced students. Everyone is welcome
The wonderful thing about attending this retreat is that the combination of the peaceful setting, shared practice and spacious time invites us all to slow down and tune into our own experience. We let the demands of our day to day lives fade away into the background and our focus and intention to be fully present to enable us to dive deeper together into the world of Tai Chi together.
About Tai Chi and Chi Gong
Tai Chi and Chi Gong are ancient forms of Chinese exercise which have been practised for hundreds of years. The soft yet strong, flowing movements, combined with meditative breathing & mind focus, help to develop a deep sense of connection within our bodies and minds. Through regular practice, this can develop a strong and flexible body and a calm and quiet mind.
Learning Tai Chi with Sophie will enable you to benefit from the teachings from the Chen family. Chen style is the oldest form of Tai Chi ever practised. It uses explosive movements as well as the soft and flowing type which gives it, as a practice, tremendous potential to develop and evolve one's body and mind as a Tai Chi practitioner.
