Over dit evenement
What are we going to do?
We will sing for a full weekend! Without any experience necessary, we will improvise, play and connect by using our voice. In a safe and secure place we will journey through all types of playful games, forms and exercises, exploring the skill and spirit of vocal improvisation. By saying yes, we will co-create music in the moment and experience the joy of singing together. We’ll be in a beautiful spot surrounded by nature, getting to know each other through singing, share meals together, sleep in the same accommodation, and above all have a lot of fun.
Why should I join?
It’s so much fun! We invite you to come as you are, as your true authentic self and trust the process. If you want to shout, shout. If you want to be still, be still! You will be part of a community that is inclusive and diverse. We’re all equals when singing and as we go we learn to connect through being playful, being vulnerable and by listening deeply to each other. All that arises in the moment is welcome. What a gift that is!
What do you get:
- Five sessions of singing. The sessions will differ between 1,5 to 3 hours.
- Sleeping accommodation for Friday and Saturday night in either a 2-person, 4-person or 6-person bedroom (see tickets).

Who are we?
Koholā is an initiative by Tim Achthoven and Jeffrey Noordijk. Our goal is to create a community by sharing our love and passion for this beautiful art form. After graduating from the 'All the way in' program, led by the legendary Rhiannon - amongst others known for her book and method 'Vocal River' and through collaborations with Bobby McFerrin - we simply had to create this place where people can come and experience the power, the impact and the immense joy of this work. Since March 2024 we’ve been hosting sessions, organizing performances and retreats with still a lot of beautiful projects to come!
