Voor DJ Ruby is elke DJ-set een kans om een meeslepende ruimte te bouwen. Door ritmes, lagen en live elementen te verweven gebruikt hij muziek als een taal om mensen terug te brengen in hun lichaam. Zijn sets zijn energiek, gelaagd en intuïtief, en nodigen uit tot beweging en exploratie.

Hij gaat voor ons de Ecstatic Dance afsluiten in een Soundscape met live muziek. Tijdens zijn professionele danscarrière kwam hij in aanraking met een breed scala aan muziekstijlen die een grote invloed hadden op de mood en textuur van dans- en theatervoorstellingen. Dit wekte zijn nieuwsgierigheid en liet hem ervaren hoe muziek mensen niet alleen fysiek, maar ook emotioneel kan raken. Om dansers dieper in contact te brengen met zichzelf.

💃 Ecstatic Dance is een vrije dansreis.
Zonder woorden. Zonder alcohol of drugs. Op blote voeten.
Dans samen of voor jezelf, precies zoals het in het moment voelt.
Neem eventueel een waterfles mee en draag laagjes kleding voor comfort.

For DJ Ruby, every DJ set is an opportunity to build an immersive space.
By weaving together rhythms, layers, and live elements, he uses music as a language to bring people back into their bodies. His sets are energetic, layered, and intuitive, inviting movement and exploration.

He will close the Ecstatic Dance for us in a Soundscape featuring live music.
During his professional dance career, he encountered a wide range of musical styles that had a major influence on the mood and texture of dance and theater performances. This sparked his curiosity and allowed him to experience how music can touch people not only physically but also emotionally, in order to bring dancers into deeper contact with themselves.

💃 Ecstatic Dance is a free dance journey.
No words. No alcohol or drugs. Barefoot.
Dance together or by yourself, exactly as it feels in the moment.
Bring a water bottle and wear layers for comfort.
