On Saturday 18 April, we are organising a special class around the theme of grief at Bluebirds West. Although grief is deeply personal, being alongside others can bring a quiet sense of connection. This session offers a soft, supportive space to write, restore and gently reconnect with yourself. We’ll combine guided journalling, restorative yoga, sound healing and live acoustic music.
Whether your grief is recent or has been with you for a while—whether you’re grieving a loved one, a relationship, or a significant change in your life—if you feel called to join, you’re warmly welcome.

Writing has been an anchor for us in our own grief. Putting feelings on paper can bring clarity and softness. You’re welcome to write freely, or use the prompts we’ll offer if you’d like a bit more guidance. You won’t be asked to read or share anything you write.

This is a gentle, grounding practice in which your body is fully supported by cushions, bolsters and blankets, inviting you to release tension and be present. The poses are held for 7–15 minutes, giving your body time to slow down and settle. No yoga experience is needed.

Music has a way of helping you tune in, soften and feel. Guitar, vocals, chimes, sound bowls and other small instruments will guide you into relaxation.
Our hope is that this class helps you feel a little more grounded, supported and gently reconnected to yourself.
If you have any questions, or if you’d like to come but the ticket price is a barrier, feel free to send us a message.
