Coven of the Waning Moon - Waxing Moon Edition!
In a change to our scheduled program, this month we will meet during the Waxing Moon and therefore explore themes of what we would like to *bring in* to our magical and mundane lives. As we are in harvest season, this is also an opportunity to look at what we have sown in the first part of the year: how has it grown? What is ready to be cut down and brought in? What needs a bit longer to ripen?
This workshop explores the power of the phases of the moon to support us in taking space and time to rest and restore. Using storytelling and science, we can deepen our relationship with the moon. Guided meditation helps identify things that have run their course and are asking to be released.
This is a queer-led, all-gender open coven experience focused on intentional rest, release, and re-enchantment. The Coven of the Waning Moon is inspired by both traditional British witchcraft and modern magical practices; you do not have to be a witch or even have a specific belief system to attend and enjoy one of these workshops.
Different Monthly Themes
Each month a different theme is explored inspired by the season and corresponding archetypes. This theme is combined with the energy of the moon, a time of letting go and turning inwards, to create a guided meditation that takes you gently into your internal landscape as you rest.
This workshop is designed to be accessible but it is aimed at people who already have some experience of meditation or energy work.
All materials are provided and included in the price, plus snacks (vegan and gluten-free) and homemade chai!
