Ecstatic dance is spreading its wings and new formats are coming up everywhere. This is our version of an Ecstatic Rave and we are would like to invite you!

We mix the beauty of Ecstatic Dance with a lot more techno, tribal beats, drum & base, psytrance and trance frequencies. Overall, the energy of the music is higher compared to a dance.
This evening is a great opportunity to let go what needs to go, express yourself and everything that currently moves you.

No substances and no dance experience needed: Just your energy and presence.

Why 'young'?

We find that there is a special energy when many young people come together. Our intention is not to exclude anyone, but to intentionally create a space where younger people can connect, express themselves, and share this unique atmosphere.
It is important to us to create this alternative to the mainstream night life scene, make it accessible for younger people and spread the love!
We are young people, collaborating with young people for young people. Supporting each other with our resources <3

Practical information:

- Please bring your own cup/bottle for the water and tea we provide.
- Other (alcohol-free) drinks are available at the bar.
- You are just as welcome to come on your own as to come with friends!

Even though you can move as freely as you want, there are some guidelines everyone must follow:
- We dance barefoot (or on socks).
- No talking on the dancefloor: Making sounds is allowed!
- No alcohol or other substances: We will provide you with as much water and tea as you need.
- No electronic devices: You can store all your devices safely in the lockers.

Structure:
- Entry from 18:30 until 19:30 - Take this moment to land in the space (talking is still allowed here). We will sell some donation-based cacao. DOORS CLOSE 19:30! Joining later is not possible.
- Silent space & opening ceremony with Bart & Pia from 19.30 to 19.50
- RAVING with DJ Tobias Korb from 19.50 to 21.50
- Live music with Vera from 21.50 to 22.00
- Closing circle from 22.00 to 22.05
- Chill space from 22.05 to 23.00

Please note that these times are estimates. Based on our experience, we recommend allowing an additional 15 minutes for the conclusion of the event.

The Ecstatic Rave will be hosted once every 2 months, keep an eye on our Hipsy page!

Location:
ATTENTION! The Ecstatic Rave will be hosted at Jonkvrouw Sanderijndreef 35, this is not the usual Play location you might be used to. From Utrecht Centraal you can take multiple buses that stop in front of the location.

Parking:
If you come with car, you can park your car for free at Shoppingcenter Overvecht, from there it is a 3 minute walk.

About DJ Tobias Korb: Guided by the philosophy of "Journey Over Genre," Tobias Korb's sets are a sonic narrative where the story is everything. He weaves hypnotic builds with cathartic peaks and a constant interplay between dark/heavy and light/playful sounds to create a full-spectrum dance experience. Prepare for an intense journey that always concludes with a soft, integrative landing.
