Midzomer Viering – Ademcirkel & Ecstatic Dance

De langste dag en kortste nacht van het jaar nodigen ons uit om voluit aanwezig te zijn in het licht, te zakken in ons lichaam en samen Midzomer te vieren.
In de prachtige kapel van het Eemklooster komen we samen voor een dag vol adem, muziek, verbinding en dans.

Een bedding van bewustzijn én expressie, gedragen door intuïtie, klank en intentie.

Dit event wordt georganiseerd door LOOF, het Heelcollectief en Dymphi Peeters.

PROGRAMMA

10:30 – 13:00 | Ademcirkel met live muziek
Een diepe reis naar binnen via de kracht van de adem, begeleid door Jasper van Hylckama Vlieg, Jo-Anne Boer en Dymphi Peeters, met live intuïtieve somatische muziek.
We creëren samen een veld van vitaliteit, overgave en helende aanwezigheid – passend bij de volle kracht van Midzomer.

13:00 – 14:30 | Potluck lunch
Na de ademcirkel delen we samen een potluck lunch.
Neem iets lekkers, voedzaams of feestelijks mee om te delen.
Wij zorgen voor thee, water en papieren bordjes, bekertjes en bestek.

14:30 – 17:00 | Ecstatic Dance met Dragonfly Dance Band
Dans je vrij. Dans je diep. Dans in het licht.
De ecstatic dance ceremonie wordt gedragen door de bezielde live muziek van Dragonfly Dance Band – een ecstatic dance band die met hun ritmes en klanken je hele systeem laat stromen.
De muziek van Dragonfly ontstaat volledig vanuit improvisatie.
Verwacht een wereldmuziek-fusion van creatieve muzikanten:
van gevoelige, zachte fado tot groovende akoestische trance,
met de krachtige percussie van de Samson Brothers,
de gigantische veelzijdigheid van Freek Zwanenberg op toetsen,
de warme grooves van Jill Lopez op gitaar en bas,
en de stemklanken van Dymphi Peeters die je raken van je botten tot in je ziel.

Waarom Midzomer?

Midzomer – de zomerzonnewende – markeert de langste dag en het hoogtepunt van het licht.
Het is een eeuwenoud moment van viering, levensenergie en dankbaarheid, én het subtiele keerpunt waarop we ons bewust worden dat het licht vanaf hier langzaam weer zal afnemen.
Deze dag nodigt uit om voluit te leven, te voelen wat er tot bloei is gekomen, en bewust te vieren wat je hebt gezaaid.
Samen ademen.

Midsummer Celebration – Breath Circle & Ecstatic Dance

The longest day and shortest night of the year invite us to be fully present in the light, to sink into our bodies, and to celebrate Midsummer together.
In the beautiful chapel of the Eemklooster, we gather for a day filled with breath, music, connection and dance.
A held and spacious field of awareness and expression, carried by intuition, sound and intention.
This event is organized by LOOF, the Heelcollectief, and Dymphi Peeters.

10:30 – 13:00 | Breath Circle with Live Music
A deep inward journey through the power of the breath, guided by Jasper van Hylckama Vlieg, Jo-Anne Boer and Dymphi Peeters, accompanied by live intuitive somatic music.
Together we create a field of vitality, surrender and healing presence—aligned with the full power of Midsummer.

13:00 – 14:30 | Potluck Lunch
After the breath circle we share a potluck lunch together.
Please bring something delicious, nourishing or festive to share.
We will provide tea, water, paper plates, cups and cutlery.

14:30 – 17:00 | Ecstatic Dance with Dragonfly Dance Band
Dance yourself free. Dance deep. Dance in the light.
The ecstatic dance ceremony is carried by the inspired live music of Dragonfly Dance Band—an ecstatic dance band whose rhythms and sounds allow your entire system to flow.
Dragonfly’s music arises entirely through improvisation.
Expect a world-music fusion created by expressive musicians:
from sensitive, gentle fado to grooving acoustic trance,
with the powerful percussion of the Samson Brothers,
the vast versatility of Freek Zwanenberg on keys,
the warm grooves of Jill Lopez on guitar and bass,
and the vocal soundscapes of Dymphi Peeters, touching you from your bones all the way into your soul.

This day invites us to live fully, to feel what has come into bloom, and to consciously celebrate what you have sown.
