Play Play: Contakids and Playfight for Parents and Children

Join us for Play Play to dive together into embodied games and playful tumbling and meet with other families that care for a daily dose of embodied play. We will combine child-friendly embodied practices to create more spaces to relate non-verbally, go wild in a caring container and find inspiration to play more in everyday life.

Elena will host a Contakids session for parents and kids (below 5yrs) inviting you to enter a creative mindset to access soft and powerful ways to be bodies together. Imagine rolling, soft acrobatics and a lot of laughter. To know more about Contakids visit https://contakids.com/

Mich will host a Playfight session for parents and kids (above 5yrs) inviting you to enter in a world of playful competition and empowerment where your intensity and your vulnerability are both equally welcome. Imagine rolling, growling and laughing with and like a child!

SCHEDULE:
Doors open: 14:30
Contakids for parents and kids below 5yrs: 15:00-15:45
Playfight for parents and kids above 5yrs: 16:00-18:00
Stay for potluck (optional): 18:00-19:00

Practicalities:
Bring a change of clothes and layers in case you want to take a break from moving. Bring some of your favorite food to share for the evening's potluck and a good dose of curiosity for these practices.
If you plan to join only part of the workshop (for example, if your kids are not in the age group for the first or second part) you are welcome to hang out at Common Ground or get a half-day ticket.
