Welcome to the Moon Gatherings!
You are invited to gather together, seed intentions and sit under this fertile Black Moon.

NEW MOON IN VIRGO - held by Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti aka Phaxsi Uma

This New Moon is also called the Black Moon and it doesn't happen that frequently, when we can really not see the Moon. Celebrated by various Pagan cultures this Black Moon is tremendously auspicious for rituals, spells and powerful magic. And that is exactly what we will do!
Besides our usual sharing, we will be making a spell wherein we tend to our unsolved contracts, cast what needs to be released, make space and alchemise what needs to be renewed and fertilised. We will be therefore making amulets together. Please bring: Sticks, threads all of sorts, plant allies to make your own "Black Moon - New Moon" Amulet

This event is donation-based, as a service to the sisterhood. Please consider how much you are willing and able to give, to honour the time of those preparing and hosting the ceremony. Suggested donation is between €5-25, depending on your situation. Donations in the form of time or crafts are welcome. Please never let money be a hindrance; there is always space to welcome you.

The Moon Gatherings is a temple; it’s not a physical one, but one that travels with us and is available for us to step in when we open it for ‘ceremony’. Held in community, this space has been ignited and will be continuing its fire with the intentions of grounding, listening, communing with the visible and invisible, mending our relations and healing within our pluralities. The Moon Gatherings has been evolving for the past five years, sustained by a collective of women that wholeheartedly assists one another in the cultivation of this growing space and community. Made possible by its consistency, visionary simplicity and its earth based inspired medicine under the initiative and guidance of medicine woman, artist and Andean priestess Phaxsi Uma aka Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti.
The collective consists of Space Holders: Raquel Haug, Elsa May Averill, Inez Almeida, Teresa Borasino, Shailoh Phillips and Supporting Sisters Ruth Borg, Amber Rijcken, Julie Kurris, Roeli Wilms, Johanna Biesewig and Katherina Bornefeld.
This collective is deeply rooted in practice. With extensive tools, a diverse and rich training in multiple transformative traditions, we are truly elated to continue this important work with a community of weavers, seed planters, artists, shapeshifters, non-conformists, radical caretakers, listeners and sanctuary creators.
Radical listening

For five years the Moon Gatherings has been rooted in the practice of "listening". We sit in circle, open Sacred space, we acknowledge we are part of the terrestrial, the cosmic, the mystery, the mundane. The fabric of life. This kind of ceremony weaves a relational web, decentering the self, nurturing community, and honouring our differences. Being fully present in our bodies, its cycles, its intuitions, untold stories and unfinished businesses. The insights start pouring like the first rainfall on a dry landscape. When tuned in with the medicine of the circle and by allowing it to open, every New Moon, a wide spectrum of connections with self and others blossoms into a marvellous vastness, the medicine(s) of each one's forgotten lineages rises. We contain each other and re-member that are branches from the same source. This kind of listening is an act of resistance in a society that silences vulnerability, erases difference, and imposes one single way of being. In order to release what doesn't serve us anymore. In multi-voiced kinship we celebrate!
