Ganga Ma's devotional kirtan and mantra gatherings are loved for the inspiring and heart opening blend of ecstatic chants, prayer ánd stillness. 

She creates a powerful container that will fuel your love for the Divine and seduce you to rest in the stillness that lies in the heart of each chant. 
Her welcoming nature makes even the most shy singer feel free to sing along and discover the beauty of a voice merging in an ocean of sound.
This evening will begin with an opening silent meditation, inviting breath to return to its natural flow. From stillness Ganga guides you into effortless AUM chanting.Chanting mantras together invokes and celebrates the stillness and vibrancy that is felt in the moments of Pure Love and Joy.

You discover the shared longing for peace and love that lives in the heart of us all. Entering the place where words fall short we chant!

This evening we will chant a mix of sanskrit meditative mantras and more expressive, ecstatic kirtan.

About Ganga Ma:

The first time Ganga Ma heard sanskrit chanting during a fire ceremony in an ashram in India it awakened in her a deep love for the practice of mantra and kirtan chanting and she has not stopped singing since that day. The path of Bhakti, the yoga of surrender and devotion spoke to her deeply and it became the center of her spiritual life.

Discovering the teachings of Advaita (non-duality) and meeting her teacher in India makes her experience the path of Bhakti in a deeper and more complete way.  

Ganga has been leading kirtans and mantra workshops for about 15 years. Most memorable were the gatherings with big groups on the banks of the river Ganga in Rishikesh. The invitation of her teacher to offer chants at his satsangs was a great gift. She has learned so much from showing up day after day to chant in the ashram. Here, chanting really became a part of her sadhana and she owes much of what she shares today to these moments.
