Wouldn’t it feel wonderful to finally ask those nagging, “I’ve always wondered…” questions, without shame?
And wouldn’t it be helpful if you could watch and try techniques with your partner right then and there, with skilled support nearby?

That’s what this day-long Show ’N Tell Then Try workshop is all about.

This is an all-day, clothing-optional experience for adults of all experience levels who want to:
- Level up their sexual confidence and skills
- Learn techniques they can actually use (not just theory)
- Ask honest questions and get respectful answers
- Practice new things with support, at their own pace
- Feel more connected, playful, and seen by their partner

This is not about being “perfect in bed” — it’s about curiosity, courage, and care. Up your erotic touch & intimacy skills (giving AND receiving!) so you can say goodbye to bedroom insecurities and hello to a new YOU filled with self-confidence and Jedi-level abilities. This special workshop is for all genders, all experience levels and sexual orientations, and includes LIVE demonstrations and time for you to practice.

What You’ll Learn and Experience:
(All timings are estimates)

DAY 1 — MORNING SESSION (Clothed, 11:00–14:00)
We'll start slow and build a connection through gentle touch, breathwork, and pelvic floor activation exercises. You’ll learn how pleasure and arousal move through the body — and how to work with that arousal to create more fun, more joy, more connection, and turn-on!

- How to “move at the speed of pleasure” and listen to your own body and the body of your partner.
- Reid’s “Push, Pull, Squeeze” approach to activating the pelvic floor & vagus nerve so you and your partners can drop deeper into our bodies and experience more pleasure!
- Approaches to enhance communication and consent as we embark on our journey of sexploration
- Tools for feeling more connected and present with yourself and your partner, and how to track your yeses, your nos, and when either of you needs to slow down or change your minds

You’ll have space to watch demos, ask questions, and try sensual things with your partner (if you choose) as we ease into our 2 days together.

BREAK (14:00–15:00)
Bring your own lunch or share a potluck-style meal. This is a time to nourish yourself, hydrate, rest, reset, and connect with others.

DAY 1 — AFTERNOON (Clothing Optional, 15:00–18:00)
This is the “Show ’N Tell” and “Then Try” part! Reid, Wilrieke, and their demo partners will offer live, explicit demonstrations of pleasure techniques. You’ll see real bodies, real communication, and real fun — and yes, you can ask questions as we go.

After each demo, the group will have hands-on practice time. Reid, Wilrieke, and their team will be there to support, coach, and guide if you ask for help. You can also choose to watch, take notes, or practice solo. Voyeurism is participation, and everything is optional.

DAY 2 — MORNING (Clothing Optional, 11:00–14:00)
Day 2’s morning session will begin with a group check-in on how Day 1 went and setting intentions for what you’d like to see, learn, try. After that, we will pick up where we left off, continuing with more Show ‘N Tell, LIVE demos and then more Try time.

BREAK (14:00–15:00)
Same as Day 1.

DAY 2 — AFTERNOON (Clothing Optional, 15:00–18:00)
Day 2’s afternoon session features more demos and more opportunities to practice with supervised support.

🌈 Possible Demo Topics May Include:
- Gentle and advanced oral sex for all bodies
- Vulva/vagina and penis pleasure techniques (hands, mouths, toys)
- Prostate and anal play with care and confidence
- Touch that turns into connection, not pressure
- Positions, ergonomics, and tools that make pleasure easier on your body
- How to celebrate softness, slow build-ups, and "oops!" moments
- Strap-on play—Not just pegging, mind you!

Participants are welcome to request demos — Think about what you want to learn and find your words! We can’t promise we’ll get to every request, but we want to hear from you!

FOR WHO IS THIS EVENT?
This event welcomes folks from all walks of life. We are LGBTQIIA+ informed (Wilrieke and most of their team identify as such), slut-friendly, trauma-informed, and non-monogamy informed. White folks are overrepresented in our team and life experiences are colored through that lens. We do come from different social backgrounds and have different life experiences when it comes to health, wealth, neurodiversity, gender, sexual orientation, etc.
We welcome people with specific needs as much as able-bodied folks. Feel free to reach out if you have specific needs that you wish to share with us.

You can attend with 1 or 2 partners, or come solo and meet a practice partner there. We’ll support that process, but we don’t promise you’ll be paired up. Watching or practicing solo is always welcome. Consent and negotiation are required at every step. Your body, your pace, your choice.

👋 ABOUT REID MIHALKO (USA)
Reid Mihalko (he/him) of ReidAboutSex.com is an internationally known sex and relationship educator helping adults become the change they want to see in the bedroom by creating more self-esteem, self-confidence, and greater health and accountability in their relationships and sex lives. Reid uses an inspiring mixture of humor, personal stories, keen insight, and comprehensive sexual health information to change the lives of his audiences and clients.

In early 2018, some very brave people came forward during #MeToo sharing harms that Reid had caused them. Reid stepped down from teaching and initiated a restorative justice-based accountability process to address his misconduct and make amends if and where possible. Going forward, Reid’s projects and appearances will include pointing people towards resources and experts on restorative and transformative justice-based accountability processes.

👋 ABOUT WILRIEKE SOPHIA
Wilrieke Sophia (they/them) is a sex & intimacy educator, (TEDx) speaker, advisor & coach for creative makers and scientists, author, and founder of Exploring Deeper and Cuddle Workshops International.

The main focus of their work is empowerment through self-knowledge and understanding, radical self-inclusion, the embodied experiencing of boundaries and desires, and an extensive practice of consent – all based on a foundation of trauma awareness and neuroscience, embedded in experiential spaces based on interpersonal connective practices. They collaborate with artists and scientists, and are a supervisor and mentor.

With their project Red Flags in Workshops, Wilrieke creates free materials on e.g. accountability, abuse, and power dynamics in the intimacy and wellness communities.

ACCESSIBILITY
This workshop space is called Awananda. The elevators in this building are out of function - the owner won’t fix this to our regret. There are stairs to enter the building. On the ground floor is an all-access bathroom. The workshop is on the first floor. There are two stairs to get there. There are several bathrooms on the first floor (no all-access bathrooms), and a kitchen with a fridge and a microwave. There are mattresses in the workshop space. There is no shower.
