In a Khulana ceremony we combine different practises with Ecstatic Dance.
This ceremony we will dance to the beats & melodies of DJade (resident DJ of Khulana).

At a Khulana ceremony you will experience four core elements:
- Stillness
- Connection
- Deepening
- Celebrating Life through Expression in this case Ecstatic Dance.

We welcome you without any restriction.

For the 'Deepening' we have invited Yvette Teeuwen
Yvette is performance artist. In her art journey she creates art performances in which she expresses an honest quest towards various topics.

At the Khulana ceremony she will perform her Water Art-performance: ‘When you carry the water, the water carries you’.

Earlier performed at an International performance project overlapping the 'Documenta 2022' in Kassel.

In this performance she creates a space in which one is able to connect and relate with the element of water. The water inside your system as wel as water as a carrier of (positive) messages.

Yvette will guide us in giving our message to the water which will flow back into the world. Please bring something with you to carry the water back into the world after the ceremony.
DJade will craft an ecstatic journey honouring the element of water in various styles of music.

Bij een Khulana ceremonie combineren we verschillende 'practises' of speelvormen met Ecstatic Dance.

Voor deze ceremonie hebben we art performer Yvette Teeuwen uitgenodigd. Zij zal een speciale art performance doen, waarin je uitgenodigd wordt om je te verbinden met het element water.

Yvette heeft deze performance eerder in Kassel gedaan tijdens de overlapping performance project tijdens de Documenta #15.

Door haar performance verbind je je met het bewustzijn van water en ervaar je het water-element in je eigen lichaam.

In de ceremonie begeleidt Yvette ons om een (positieve) boodschap mee te geven aan het water en dat terug te laten stromen in de wereld.

Neem een waterdrager mee zodat je jouw boodschap kunt meenemen de wereld in.

DJade zal met haar Ecstatic Dance journey expressie geven aan haar liefde voor water door muziek.
