Four Foundations of Mindfulness are a fundamental aspect of mindfulness practice and have been used for centuries as a powerful tool to cultivate mindfulness, inner peace and insight.
During this event, we will explore the Four Foundations of Mindfulness:
π§π»ββοΈ Mindfulness of the body - Developing awareness of our breath, body and posture.
π§πΎββοΈ Mindfulness of sensations - Observing our sensations and being more aware of our perceptions.
π§πΌββοΈ Mindfulness of mental states (thoughts and emotions) - Cultivating the ability to recognize and observe our thoughts and emotions, with non-judgmental awareness.
π§π»ββοΈ Mindfulness of mental objects - Bringing attention to the nature of our experience, including our perceptions, mental formations and consciousness.
Through guided meditation, discussion and contemplative exercises, we will learn how to apply these foundations to our daily lives, enhancing our ability to stay present, centered and peaceful amidst life's challenges.

About the facilitator:
I was always curious about life questions and how our mind works. In my teenage years I started practicing hatha yoga and since my early 20s I was very interested in meditation. After having my daughter, I was coping with postnatal depression and not much later divorce. At that time I started with mindfulness lessons. Mindfulness gave me understanding on how my mind works and simple and practical tools on how to practice mindfulness meditation. My awareness increased and I learned a lot about my thinking and behavioral patterns. I have some predisposition for depression and very active analytical mind, that is often distracted and prone to overthinking. Regular mindfulness practice helps me stay connected with myself, allows my mind to relax and helps me cultivate more awareness.
I finished mindfulness trainersβ training at Inner Mind Institute, where I deepened my knowledge in theoretical part and learned how to guide others. I feel very grateful that I can share Mindfulness practice with other people and support them.
