This special edition is for you, in honor of our womanhood. An afternoon to celebrate who we are, together, in all our splendour and strength. Put your worries aside, let go and let yourself be carried away by the music. Dance like no one is watching, feel the freedom, the fun, and above all the love we share with each other.
Love for us, for each other and for who we are.
ON SUNDAY MAY 18
We transform sportsclub Smile Sport in Haarlem into a magical and intimate Ecstatic Dance temple. Together we create a place where all is welcome. A place where you will feel at home. A place where you feel free to move like you have never moved before. In this place there’s no right or wrong, no choreography and no judgement.
Together we create a safe space by following the guidelines of Ecstatic Dance:
💛 we are silent on the dance floor & let our body do the talking
💛 we take off our shoes & connect to mother earth
💛 we move with an open and positive mindset & don't judge
💛 we are free from alcohol, drugs and phones & get high on our own supply
💛 we move freely & no dancing experience needed
These guidelines allow us to connect with ourselves, the music and each other. Be inspired by the magic of free movement. If you allow yourself to move freely, the world around you will move as well. Be amazed, be open and be vulnerable.
CACAO CEREMONY 🤎
We will start the event with a heartwarming cacao ceremony with cacao from Pure Kakaw. Back in ancient times, cacao was used by the Mayas both for its health and spiritual benefits. Drinking this pure form of cacao, allows us to experience the true essence of the plant, connecting to our heart and others and nurturing both our body and mind.
Together we will set an intention, drink the cacao and listen to beautiful live music.
Our cacao ceremony will centre around the theme of celebrating the feminine.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Movement Journey - Women Only is a Sunday afternoon full of beautiful live music, delicious food, lovely people and free movement. Here’s a little sneak peak of the program:
