Take a deep juicy inhalation,
followed by a long relaxing exhalation
and pause.

Right there,
before your body starts with the next breath cycle,
there is a stillness, a pause, a nothingness,
an all there is.

Right there, we can ask ourselves two questions:

What to let go off?

What to take with us?

These two questions remain central during this Spring Equinox & New Moon Ceremony. Inspired by the waning and waxing of the New Moon we explore life, death and rebirth cycles. The Spring Equinox signifies new life, the days become longer than the night, new life emerges. We are shedding our old skins, our masks, we are open, we become vulnerable. We will share, dance, connect to ourselves and our sisters. Protected by the Circle we are nourished and regain new energy.

After this Spring Equinox & New Moon Ceremony you may feel calm, soft or touched to the core of your being. Maybe you feel extremely tired or fully alive, bursting with new ideas. Whatever feelings you are experiencing after a New Moon Ceremony, you feel what’s there for you to feel. You feel aligned or you will know exactly what it takes to find your alignment again.

Minne Perdijk

I grew up close to Sea, with her moody currents, and eb and flow. When looking to her, it seems if she was different every minute, and yet she remained the same. Lately I reconnected to her, the land, the birds, the sun and the moon. It brought me right back to my essence, to the remembering of who I am and what's here for me to do. Sharing this homecoming.

During my New Moon Ceremonies I draw forward on this experience in combination with the knowledge and experience of a Moonlodge Year training by Wenwei. Besides that I am inspired by literature and story about wild womanhood. Some of my favourites are Woman Who Run With Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Shakti Woman by Vicki Noble and Circe by Madeline Miller.
