Another extra FreeFlow special night with DJ Yarl!
We have been searching for a while to expand our FreeFlow energy in Utrecht and are happy to share the good news: we found an amazing location that offers us more space to dance! A small church with a wooden floor, nice acoustics and in the city centre of Utrecht: De Zalen van Zeven on the Boothstraat.
Important: there's no (free) parking here as it's in the city centre and bicycle parking is on Janskerkhof, not in front of the door.
DJ YARL, aka Jarl F. Hector, brings dance floors into a world of sound that’s as transformative as it is captivating. With roots as a guitarist and singer in an indie band that toured across the Netherlands and experience as a music director for trailers and films, his sets reflect a broad, eclectic taste. From classical scores and lush downtempo to tribal IDM, soulful techno, GQOM, breakbeats, and mind-bending house, his selection spans genres and cultures, creating a rich and immersive journey.
With a unique genre-blending approach, DJ YARL bridges the spiritual with the mainstream, guiding people to reach ecstasy on the dance floor without any substances. Expect an experience that uplifts the spirit and moves the body in pure bliss.
Flow freely by expressing yourself through movement in any pure (without substances) and transforming way with respect to the people around you.
The dance space is a phone-free and non-speaking area where we dance without shoes.
Time schedule:
19:15 doors open
19:45 opening session with explorative movement
20:00 dance journey with DJ YARL
21:50 closing circle and chilltime with tea and snacks
Practicalities:
- During the dance there will be water and tea provided (please bring your own bottle)
- Wear comfortable clothing to move freely in
- No refunds or rescheduling possible
- We encourage you to join from the whole experience, please aim to be there no later than 19:40
- Space holders are present
- Animal friends / pets are not allowed
- Bring earplugs if you feel you are (more) sensitive to sound
- Our events are for human beings from the age of 18
- Please note that if an event is sold out, the only way to get a ticket still is via TicketSwap
