Creative workshop: S.L.O.W. Photography

S.L.O.W. - Sense, Linger, Observe, Wait.

In deze workshop leggen we onze smartphones even weg. Ook laten we de digitale camera thuis want in deze workshop gaan we met een analoge camera op pad. Dit is geen workshop bedoeld om je nieuwe fotografische technieken aan te leren, maar door tijdens het fotograferen de S.L.O.W. methode toe te passen, leren we mindful te staan in het hier en nu en raken we beter verbonden met onze omgeving. Door de tijd te nemen om taferelen uit het stadscentrum van Wageningen vast te leggen, zou je weleens dingen kunnen zien die je nooit eerder had gezien of jouw onaangeboorde interesse in de stad kunnen ontdekken.

Other important information:
* The fee is €20 per person for a workshop of 3,5 hours (Tea, coffee and cookies are included)
* Age requirement: above 12 years old
* The group will only host a maximum of 6 participants
* For participating in this workshop, you'll have to bring your own analogue camera /film camera. I will encourage you to get a one-time-use camera. You can find it in various stores. (See provided link below for a list of possible providers) I will suggest to choose ISO 400 or ISO 800 film concerning the limited daylight we have in this season.
* An optional meet-up is offered one month after the workshop where you can bring the digital photos you took during the workshop. In this one-hour meeting, we will share and chat with each other about our photography works.

About me:
I am a performing artist and scenographer who originally comes from the background of architecture and lighting design. I started Laboratelier in 2016, after obtaining my MA in Scenography at Utrecht University of the Arts HKU. Most of my artistic projects are small-scale, participatory, performative experiences. My projects have been performed or exhibited in different cities in the Netherlands.
As an artist working with embodiment, being aware of the relationships between space and the body has always been important to me. In order to document these relationships in different contexts, I've developed my own method which is a combination of taking walks and photography.
